For 5CA, a leading international customer experience company, MOTIK has created a unique Christmas video that aligns with the company's core values: technology and remote work. 5CA, known for its services to major brands like Epic Games and Ubisoft, has a globally dispersed team that primarily works from home. In this video, we developed a concept that connects the metaverse and remote work. The video follows the story of an employee who receives a Christmas gift from home: a VR headset. As soon as he puts on the headset, he enters the 5CA metaverse and is transported to the physical office. Various scenes show how employees digitally 'fly' into the office from home, creating an impressive visual experience. We made extensive use of special effects in this production, where we used rotoscoping to cut out the employees and digitally place them as holograms in the scenes.
Storyline and Creative Concept Development
The storyline of the Christmas video for 5CA has been carefully developed to reflect the unique work culture of the company and its connection with the metaverse. The scenes where employees travel from their home environment to the office in the metaverse symbolize the flexibility and connectedness within the company.
Rotoscoping in Video Production
An essential part of this production was the use of rotoscoping techniques. This method allows us to realistically integrate the staff into the metaverse scenes, creating a seamless transition between the real and virtual worlds.
